Memories Documented part 2 - Adventure Day #3

Each international friend got to have an Adventure Day. E.H.B. was totally on board with a day on her own. She came with a plan and was ready for a day full of fun.

Rather than Casey's donuts, E.H.B. wanted to make homemade donuts. I thought I had a recipe that would be great, but I failed to read the entire recipe prior to her adventure day. It was waaaayyyy more complicated than we had time. So we moved on to lunch out.

Then moved on to sewing. It took some tough decisions to decide what project to tackle. E.H.B. decided to make a case for her e-reader. 

 This sewing project included our good old button sewing practice......

 and introduced her to the serger. 

 It turned out so cute and the e-reader fit perfectly. 

Our time was quickly running out, so we did some multi-tasking for the last hour.
E.H.B. learned and enjoyed glass etching, while I made a dessert for my small group meeting. 

Since we didn't get to make donuts, we decided a batch of popcorn for E.H.B. and the family was a good second choice. But we still had "make a video" on the list, so we did both. 

E.H.B. did the video editing all on her own, during the car ride to meet her parents. She is amazing!
