Silhouettes and Shadows

I love to take silhouette and shadow photos. You have to be in the right location at the right time to get them. 

My parents have the perfect hill at their house for silhouette photos...you just have to be there at the right time. This was my first ever silhouette photo. Circa 2009.

When there is not hill available, you just turn around and take a shadow picture instead. 

This one was taken about a month ago, back at my parent's house. In the mean time, the field in the background has been put into the set aside program. My clear horizon has disappeared, but since the crew is taller now, we still made it work.
