Memories documented
I started this blog post back in June and it has been sitting in my Drafts folder since then. It is going to be a test to see how good my memory is holding up.
At that time, I wrote this post http://europeandoorways.blogspot.com/2017/06/you-can-be-star.html that highlighted some of our fun.
This post's adventures cover Captain America's day.
He chose his younger sister to join the fun.
Captain America is not a big fan of my camera, but he was kind enough to to let me sneak in a few photos to document the day.
While they were here, their grandpa got them hooked on Casey's donuts. We happened to drive by a Casey's on our way to the pottery shop and they were quick to mention they had not had their donut that day. Ugh....I told them their mother would think I had lost my marbles if I got them donuts, but somehow they talked me into it. My memory is fuzzy on how exactly they did it.
But those sweet smiles are starting to bring my memory back into clarity.
Oh...now I remember. I agreed to donuts if we went to the park and burned some calories and got some fresh air. It was totally worth the "trade."
We finished up the day, back at grandma and grandpa's house, eating cereal at the counter, playing catch in the front yard, and playing our own version of tag in the front room (the mattress was base.)
